Dr. FG FTW

The day ahead isn't gonna be an easy or simple one. Several and diverse decisions and action-points remain. If not done today, then they'll carry over to tomorrow and be a burden to rest of my existence, much like how I've been carrying a lot of baggage from my past 32 years of living. There seems to be no break in the frustration of and from actions and imaginations. Good that I am least knowledgeable or the situation would've been worse. Yes, it could be worse. Every day is spent realizing that it could be worse.

Regardless of the worse-ness and irrespective of the worth-ness, I bumped into a smooth character from the itihaas (aka the past), who is now no more, but whose words pull some cords with eager soulfulness even in a person living in today's age, 25 years since he was gone. Firaq Gorakhpuri is his name. Ghazal-writing (aka "Hindustani" poetry) is his game. His romanticism is refreshing, underrated.

And here's a new personal favorite, drawing similes to her from nature.
आइन ए नील गूं से फूटी है किरन
आकाश पे अधखिले कंवल का जोबन
यूँ उदी फ़ज़ा में लहलहाती है शफ़क
जिस तरह खिले तेरे तबस्सुम का चमन।

The Madcap Laughs

What will be if I lose her
What will be if I lose them
What will be if I lose myself
What will be if I lose it - one little bit

What will be if I lose that - that crazy cat

That devolved madcap ...

that sends pigeons into space,
kills unicorns for the cause of public health,
traces vague lines in the sand,
places elephants on the lands of ice,
brings home tales of great curiosity,
treats with an empty pocket,
cheats in a shackled world,
beats on a forgotten path,
hears a strange new tune,
makes queens feel less,
trails the global average maturity scale,
forgets to love what he loves,
and loves to forget what is forbidden...

to him we toast

Learning about the chaos called life

Borne out of the chaos,
a yearning for learning;
first lesson learnt,
is that the road ahead got its fair share of turns;
and people are people;
and lover sometimes act more distant than friends;
and the world around
submissioned through shock
often chooses passivity.

If only I knew my long shelf life - been on the shelf for too long - and better come of some use before hitting the expiry date (of human endeavor). I would be on it, provided that disclosure of information, which is a doubtful/impossible premise in itself.

Armaan

Never

Never bite the hand that feeds
Never lose your slippers
Never skip a bath
Never forget to maintain a clean pair of undies
Never skip a beat
Never have maggi randomly
Never listen to your old music
Never play with furry things
Never play with own furry things
Never clean up after the act
Never find the solace
Never find the happiness
Never hide
Never play dead
Never feel crowded

Never be okay

Love me again like it's Monday

The roads, they call me home
When home is where I thought I am
The gold in the evening sun
points a long finger to the roads beyond
and goads me out
from my gluttony, my thought,
my alarm, and my pining.
A meek farewell and a
tender few moments in a brief window
but the physical expression
came, came right, and
came to steal the cake.
Monday is that day of the week
when the groove got on
far and beyond
what two lovers thought
they could be, and beyond.
Love me again
like it's Monday.

Trekker's Romance

"I think I'm pretty fearless, if not for the single greatest fear of losing her. "

Lift the white veil
The stack of pale
Brown leaves that decorate
The hillside
Its hide
Caressed by invisible fingers
And a thousand invisible singers
That sing its song
Far out and along
The meandering stream
Like a serene dream
Of lush breasts
Imagined in those crests
with a thin trail
Leading to a frail
Gully through the snows
Where relentless wind blows
Into submission those
of iron will and a burnt nose.

eons

I need not kill for you.
You need not love me anymore.
They need not know about it all.
We need not acknowledge each other anymore.
Nothing feeds the seed to need
Unless the need is in the seed
Itself a part of our genetic code.
Which means our love,
Isn't merely a day old.

One Mere Rotation

The storm growing brighter
The frames getting lighter
The planes fanning wider
The riders going sprighter
The doom's gate appearing whiter
The sunset bloom receding tighter
The blinkers choking a fighter
The ghosts scaring a biker

On the 22" IPS LCD the Spiti memories of a mere month back seem so nostalgic (and courageous, too). I sometimes find myself lost of where I'm to start finding myself.

One Up on Farewells

Farewell, my valleys, soft and rolling,
And you, steep hills that I've known, exploring!
And you, ravines of Nainital, aye!
Farewell, my lovely azure sky,
Farewell, o Nature, gay and gentle!
Your quiet world I soon shall trade
For Delhi's noise, the vain parade...
Farewell, my freedom elemental!
What future am I heading for?
What secrets holds my fate in store?

All this emotion, just after a week's stay. Damn, this guy needs some sort of detachment therapy.

Rakehell's Diaries

instacrap
If you had fuller tits and ass,
Or if I could imagine you as that,
Then on any future exhibition,
You will find me missin,
Into the cavernous halls;
Dashing through a cold room,
Filled up with a hot bloom,
A jump, and now past the walls.
I will be there in your virgin forests.

Fingertips. Shapes. Sprouts. Heart. Sun. Enter words...

Some days forever stay young
And some kisses linger on
Some words come so easy
When someone is long gone
The rush of our blood
Under the canopy of trees
And the sunrises and sunsets
That still flow through me
Bring the rush back again
Like it were just yesterday
That we lived the days
When days felt a gain

Weekend Mistress

In the autumn I set out for my spring.
You,
in whose veiled face, I'll search
for the pieces to put together in the grand puzzle.
In whose playful heart I'll search
for the warmth that leaves me cold each day.
Fluctuating, receding, displacing,
you, to make me forget
some things that forget me.
With you,
I'll spend some hours under the sun,
endless and singing.
My weekend mistress, here I come.

hold you close someday, i will,
to break your heart.
impossible is what we were meant to be;
impossibly close so we
could share a common breath,
and for you to kill me with your eyes
the slow onset of a mischievous smile;
then thin air you'd become
that i breathe in like a perfume,
again to let go.

you run away from me now
as my haemoglobin enriches everything but me,
a fountain of all that I ever was trying to be,
to get across to you.
but I lay dead as you run away
and, dead, I shall wait here for you forever.

Just between us

"Be my tiny yin............"
I'm a man of limited capabilities;
a man with a finite view of health, of expanse, of finances, of power that emotes, of power that corrupts, of motility, of potency.
I think of human cohabitative endeavors of yet.
I imagine my evenings with the least wanted women.
I make unreasonable plans about lands halfway touched and halfway untouched by the human presence.
I have a trigger 3 1/2 handspans from my brain that acts a magnet to my thoughts - that seizes them at inception to veer them away, and and affects how I see the world and how the world sees me and how I channel my monologues and dialogues.
I find innocence and nostalgia hitting me from all sources, and from across the wall.
I find myself crawling from unqualification and less-than-attentive grasp of trolls and trollhunters.
I find myself imagining my love interests in pleated black tops, or under hallucinogens, or in sweet bondage, or in a cheeky, nervous, wet state.
I hear Bollywood love ballads from across the wall that turn me red.
I sense an oncoming suicide, or a state of inebriation unparalleled, or a fanatic state of cycling, or authorship, and some visible tummy.

Falling through space

Fall through space, through vaccum
You travel through the solar system and enter the Earth's atmosphere
You enter the atmosphere and
Rending all the atmospheric layers
The ionosphehre
then the thermosphere
then the troposphere
then the stratosphere
there's a lonersphere sandiwched there as well
fall through blue skies
towards tumors of white
tumors that soon take semblance to clouds.
And you fall through a chasm of cotton
you fall through a dream
towards your approaching doom
Between the sky and earth it's not a long distance -
soon you stare into the earth
and see centuries of geology waiting to shatter your bones
wish the laws of physics were a bit liberal to those wafting through space
It indeed is a return to reality
for when you burst like a bag
your skeleton want to scatter themselves around the nation falling as sphagetti ribbons
but the skin holds it back
perhaps there is no free will
even at the last instant of your
there is none at all.
