dont believe in these

People are always taken for a ride
having the internet makes it all the more easier

Remember the one about Russians outsmarting the Americans by using pencils?
HOAX!

Remember the one about a speech from Lord Macaulay praising Indian society, and the need to break that society for complete domination?
HOAX, YOU IGNORANT BASTERDS!

And the one about an Alice (substitue any other cute name), just a few months old, dying from Cancer?
EMOTIONAL ATTYACHAAR!

And the one about some [south] indian making a computer to beat Microsoft (sic!) and 50% of NASA having Indian blood?
UP YOuRS!

I always knew about that Macaulay speech being a fictional piece...it seems a (Maharashtrian) Hindu brigade/nationalist propaganda magazine was the origin to it.

And about the pencil thing: it makes for a good start to a session, but is life that dreary that we cant think of anything that actually happened?
I cannot ask Fidel; we've lost all contact since the past 35 years. We went on our separate ways.
